Future smartphone to look foward to

There are definitely a number of handsets that are currently making waves all throughout the mobile phone community. Here’s a breakdown of the future smartphones to look forward to.
It looks like the iPhone 5 or 4S will be making an appearance this coming September. A refresh of the iPhone 4 was expected on Apple’s WWDC. It has been rumored that the Cupertino firm will instead make way for the handset in place of the scheduled iPod refresh. This is usually on September.
Another future phone to look forward to is the Google Nexus 3. We’ve hearing a number of rumors about the next generation Nexus, which is said to come in Q4 of this year. It is said to be powered by Google’s new iteration to its Android OS, the Ice Cream Sandwich. It will also come with cutting edge features such as 1080p video recording. It has also been rumored that LG will be manufacturing the new Google Nexus 3.
The Droid 3 (Motorola Milestone 3 in the UK) has now been officially announced. It features a 4 inch touch screen and an unconventional QWERTY keyboard with 5 lines as opposed to only 4 lines on its predecessor. It will be powered by a dual-core processor and 2.3 Gingerbread. Sadly, it will not be coming to the UK.
The Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 is another handset to look forward to. This is RIM’s attempt to get back in the game. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz single-core processor and will be Blackberry’s slimmest smartphones at 10.5 mm, aside from the usual features users love about Blackberry handsets.
Last on the list is Windows-powered Nokia smartphones. The new face of Nokia is expected to hit shops at the later this 2011. Stephen Elop, Nokia CEO, has said that the camera process on these future smartphones will be even better than that of the N8’s 12 MP camera. Furthermore, it has buried the hatchet with Qualcomm, so expect these future smartphones to sport powerful processors.
