It seems the current shift from pcs to mobile devises is comes with its on consequences. And this is very well seen from HPs recent actions. HP have announced that they will layoff 16000 of its employees.HP said the latest layoffs would come across all its business units and geographic locations, and would generate $1 billion in annual savings beyond the $3.5 to $4 billion projected from the previously announced cuts.

I have realized that with the current change in technology companies have to "go with the flow"  or else this will actually lead to their failure. It seems in the near future Google will be struggling with the same problems. Google 95% revenue comes from internet ads which are usually in PCs. Current research show that mobile ads are the lowest in terms of generating income therefore it might be hard for Google in future, with this move to mobiles.
